Dimensions: 48 x 24 cm.  This vintage print has some slight wear around the edges of the border due to age; this does not affect the actual image and will not be visible once the print is properly matted and framed.

The caption on the bottom of the print reads as follows:

Darius The Great enthroned

This relief (the same scene on the east door of the Tripylon and on the north door of the Throne Hall at Persepolis) illustrates Darius the Great enthroned in New Year's Day ceremonies.  Seated in front of two fire altars, which separate him from the Grand Master of Ceremonies and his assistant, he is ready to receive the tribute of his provinces.
