Dimensions: 48 x 24 cm.   This vintage print has some slight wear around the edges of the border due to age; this does not affect the actual image and will not be visible once the print is properly matted and framed.

The caption on the bottom of the print reads as follows:

Bas Relief of Cyrus the Great, Pasargadae, Fars

This unique figure is carved on a stone block, located on the plain of Murghab on which Pasargadae, the capital of Cyrus the Great, Mighty Lord of Asia, once stood. Below this figure, carved in three languages, appears an inscription which reads, "I am Cyrus, the King, the Achaemenian."
