Soleimani
This collection of prints by Soleimani is a celebration of motherhood. He was inspired to create this series after the devastating 1988 earthquake in Armenia, when he learned that a mother, trapped under the rubble, had fed her newborn child with her own blood for eight days until they were found and rescued. More than 45,000 people were killed during the 6.9 quake and its four aftershocks, one of which registered 5.0 on the Richter scale.
