Mina Karee

Enamel ware (called mina karee) is a uniquely Persian art form, prized by collectors and decorators around the world. It is made by painting surfaces (usually copper, sometimes gold or silver) and then firing them in a special furnace to add strength and stabilize the color.  The result is a beautiful work of art that is nearly indestructible.
