This mirror features the quality khatam karee inlay that is as much a work of art as a functioning object. There are 250 pieces of wood, metal and other materials for every cubic centimeter of inlay. The design is esleemee - there is no exact English translation, but the closest word is mosaic.
The embossed images feature nomadic tribesmen herding their animals. There is an easel on the back as well as an eyelet for either table or wall display.
The mirror was photographed at an angle to minimize distracting reflections. Close-ups of the paintings and design are shown below.
