This khatam inlay box features a treasure-chest shape, and it is fully lined in maroon felt, perfect for your jewelry and other valuables.

The embossed lid features a hand-painted scene featuring a nightingale and peacock among the flowers. The hinged lid makes opening and closure easy. The edge of the lid has a small indentation in the wood; this occurred during original construction and is not a result of subsequent damage. These small imperfections are common in hand-made objects.
