This is a great moaraq that's very distinctive from the others we've had before. It's a classic Persian motif of flowers and birds.

Notice the khatam inlay in the birds' wings.  There is a blend of translucence and opacity, light and shade, that makes for fascinating viewing.  It's an incredibly intricate piece that you'll be proud to display - or give as a gift!
