This moaraq is a classic Persian romantic image, very reminiscent of poems such as the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, featuring a woman holding a cup  The cup is actually Persian enamel (mina karee) embedded into the artwork. This moaraq comes with a metal eyelet mounted on the back, ready to display on your home or office wall.  Signed by the artist (see lower right and close-up above).  The color variations are due to reflective glare and are not a defect.
